FRANCES HAMM (nee LUY) November 4, 1926 - January 15, 2017 Peacefully, on Sunday, January 15, 2017, with family at her side, Frances Hamm passed away at the age of 90 years. Fran will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Pat Hamm and Cheryl Franklin, her two grandsons, Chad Hamm and Jeremy Franklin (Jen Voyer), nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-great-nephews and niece. She was predeceased by her loving husband Peter (Pat) in 1995, her parents John and Eva Luy, brothers Johnny and Eddie and sisters Jean, Helen and Doris. Fran was born and raised in Tyndall, Manitoba. She moved to Winnipeg as a teenager to work where she met and married Peter (Pat) in 1949. They were happily married for 46 years. In the later years prior to his death the two were inseparable. If you saw one, the other was no doubt close by. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. As per her wishes, there will be no formal service. A private family interment will take place at Green Acres Cemetery.
