I offer my condolences to Don's family. I worked with him at Inovatech for about 4 years. What a kind heart and a sweet soul! It was indeed my pleasure to have known him. - Posted by: Juliet (Co-worker) on: Feb 21, 2017

Don is an angel. He was a very good friend of mine for many years. He was always there, and was a true friend. We spent many hours talking and laughing in the yard by the fire. He loved telling stories of his family and friends. He was a wonderful artist and quite the carpenter too! Don loved his flowers and his garden. He was a good teacher. I will love him and miss him forever. Thanks for the wonderful memories Don. Till we meet again in heaven. - Posted by: Stephanie Lafontaine (Friend ) on: Feb 15, 2017

My sincere condolences to Don's family. Don and I were friends and neighbours for 12 years. He always welcomed me into his beautiful back yard and helped me with my little garden over the years. Don was exceptionally creative. He could take an item discarded by others and make it into something functional and beautiful. I appreciated his sense of humour and always gentle teasing. I will miss you, Don. - Posted by: Vikki Wood (Neighbour and friend) on: Jan 25, 2017

Don and I went to art school together as well a being roommates for some time. He was a very talented artist, his goofy humour always cracked you up and he had the most caring spirit. We both went thru art school on very limited budgets, but he and I would spend the week producing pieces of art and then we'd go door to door trying to sell them. We often sold enough to buy a few groceries, or for an evening at a pub listening to music, and, if it was a really good week, we could "upgrade" our wardrobe at the Hadassah Thrift Store on Sargent Avenue. Hanging around with Don was always an adventure. My sincere condolences to Don's family. - Posted by: Jerry Maksymyk (Old friend) on: Jan 22, 2017

Sending my condolences to Don's Family. I enjoyed knowing Don, and learned a lot about gardening from him, through out the years. May you have as Beautiful a Garden as you made here on earth, always. You will be missed. - Posted by: Colleen Belanger (Friend) on: Jan 21, 2017

I would like to offer my condolences to Dons family. I worked with Don for many years, and was sad to hear of his passing. Dons sense of humour, and work ethic were something we could all learn from. After he nick named me "young lady" I started calling him "old man", neither were accurate as usual with nicknames. I write this to say RIP "old man" may you be gardening in the sky. - Posted by: Liane Ross-Martin (Co-worker) on: Jan 21, 2017
