HANS JOACHIM BIELERT It is with great sadness the family announces Hans' passing on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the age of 80, after a lengthy battle with Dementia. Hans will be lovingly remembered by his wife Roswitha; children, Mike (Shari) and Thor (Amity); sister Gretel (Friedhelm); four grandchildren, Markus, Alexis, Riley and Delaney along with extended family and dear friends. A private celebration of Hans' life was held on Monday January 16 at Wheeler Funeral Home in Transcona. The family would like to thank his family doctor, Dr P. Chochinov, his assistant Arlene and the nurses in Concordia Hospital's N1 ward, especially nurse Sandra and Gillian and all the other nursing staff and aides that treated Hans with respect and great care to the end. We also want to thank our friends and neighbors for their caring and support during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hans' memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St, Winnipeg, MB. R3C 4G2.
