TIETJE ROELOFS On January 20, 2017 Tietje (Tina) Roelofs passed away peacefully, at home, with the love of her life by her side. She leaves to remember her husband of 67 years, Wilhelmus, her children, Dieuwke Yaremko and Garrett Hallengton (Mohrea), five granddaughters, Vera (Colin), Roseanne (Colin), Colendagh (Greg), Shaayna and Alannah, as well as four great-grandchildren Gavin, Cassidy, William and James, and faithful friends Bentley and Macy. Our dear grandma gave us hugs and kisses every time we saw her, licorice drops and songs to sing never with a frown. No matter how we played or fought she just put her arms around us and loved us a whole lot. Night time at her house is a memory we will always keep, she would scratch our backs all night or until we fell asleep. Grandma you cheered everyone up when they were feeling blue, it was simply impossible not to love you. You've given us all your knowledge, your time, your touch and your smile...now let the wings of butterflies take you to the place you want to go. Slaap kindje slaap. We love you.

Dieuwke and Bill, I am so sorry to hear of Tietje's passing. She will be missed by many. I always looked forward to her visits at the office. If you weren't smiling when she came in you were when she left, she just had that way about her. She always got a laugh out of my poor attempt at speaking Dutch but always said don't give up. The heavens most certainly a rare beautiful butterfly gracing them now. Glenda MacLennan and Frans Vanjecek. - Posted by: Glenda MacLennan (Friend from Dr Fox's Office) on: Jan 24, 2017
