DARLENE JO-ANN JARVIS 20 years ago today, the world lost an amazing woman. A mother, a wife, a friend. Darlene Jo-Ann Jarvis passed away at the age of 35. She left behind her children Cindy, David, Tanya, and Greg; her husband Steve, and the rest of her family. She has since been joined in heaven by her son David. If I were granted one wish today, and I knew it would come true; I'd ask for just a little time, to speak alone with you. To hear your voice like it used to be, so soft, so quiet, so clear; That voice which has been silenced, during these past 20 years. My heart is full of memories, With pride I speak your name, Though life goes on without you, It will never be the same. You left a big hole in my heart that nobody on earth could ever fill; I love you mom, and always will. - Cindy

I met Darlene through our husbands who both worked in fire alarms. Darlene & Steve in Manitoba and us in Saskatchewan. We looked forward to seeing each other each year when we attended conventions and we shared a lot of laughs. Darlene had the best laugh! I think of her often, was sad to hear about David.... Happy to see this memorial post. Cindy - I hope you are happy and surrounded by people who love and support you. - Posted by: Barbara Tait (Friend from years ago) on: Jul 25, 2019
