VERNON EDWARD PASLAWSKY With great sadness and love, we announce the sudden passing of Vernon Edward Paslawsky of Winnipeg, Manitoba on Sunday, December 25, 2016. Vern leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Teresa, his children, Andrew (Lauren), Diana, and Melissa (Paul), grandchild, Catlyn; his dear mother, Sophie Paslawsky, sister, Karen Stelma (Bill), special friends Lola, Spikey, and many cherished relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Edward Paslawsky. Vern was born on September 14, 1960 in Winnipeg, MB. He grew up in Transcona, graduating from Murdoch MacKay School in 1978. After graduation, he worked for CP Rail, The Old Spaghetti Factory, International Blowers and then retired from VAW Systems . He also had a limousine business where he met many interesting people and made a lot of friends. He was a very happy, thoughtful person , very hardworking man, often putting in long hours, in order to enjoy time off with his family. When he retired, they spent their winters in Texas and summers in St. Laurent. He appreciated having people around to visit in both their winter and summer homes. A private family memorial service has taken place. He will be missed by many and will always be in our cherished memories.
