So sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I worked with Doug for a number of years in Edmonton. Doug had a great sense of humor, and always tried to be helpful. He was never without a his tie and suspenders. On his last day of work with us, we all wore 1 of his ties for the day. My thoughts are with you at this sad time. - Posted by: Marguerite (Co-Worker) on: Jan 31, 2017

I had known Doug since 1953, we went to school together. Ran into him over the years and he always told people that were around him at that time that I was the first girl to kiss him in grade 1. He never left me forget it. I think he kissed me first. Doug always had a smile on his face as big as all outdoors and always called me kiddo. To Carol and his 2 boys I am so sorry for your loss. He was a very good friend to my husband Roy and myself. Also no matter when we ran into him in North Kildonan he always had a smile and a hand shake. God Bless You Doug Rest in Peace.
