HELEN MILLER (nee DESMARAIS) Suddenly, on January 27, 2017, we lost our deeply loved Mom, Nana, sister, aunt and friend, at the age of 85. Heartbroken by our loss, we will forever be comforted by her love for us and never ending guidance. Helen is survived by daughter Dawn Hendrick (Ron); son Danny (Sheena); grandchildren dearest Adam, Jamie and Lindsay; great-grandsons, Hunter, Harley and Bentley; as well as sister Betty Whincup; brother Bruce Desmarais and many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband William (Bill) 1995; parents and sisters, Margaret, Laura, Bernice and Agnes. Helen's favourite times were spent with family and at the family cottage on the waters of Lac du Bonnet. Helen was so looking forward to spring and another season of creating family memories. The family extends their deepest appreciation to the Winnipeg Fire, Paramedic and Police services and the Manitoba medical examiner for their compassionate assistance.
