She taught us how to love, laugh, and dance in every situation, in life and at work, as a mother, daughter, wife, sister, and friend. Kathy was predeceased by Alba's father, Eduardo, and leaves behind her husband Wes Krahn, daughter Alba, parents Wes and Ella Sawatsky, father-in-law Henry Krahn, siblings Leslie (Merlin Ross), David (Ruth Schellenberg), and Jonathan (Cheryl Koop), sister-in-law Linda (Rob Hawley), nieces Ariel, Amelia, Mia, and Kate, nephews Jordan and Caleb, and countless friends including her life-long friend Violet Stoesz. Cathy embodied life. Positive energy. Kindness. And she could dance to make everyone in the room think we should all stop and dance because Kathy was having such a good time.
