FRANCES YVONNE MCRAE It is with aching hearts that the family announce that Yvonne, 87, of Gimli, MB, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Oakview Place Extendicare. Yvonne was born on December 6, 1929 in Killarney, MB to Russell and Jennie (Huntsman) Pascoe. Yvonne was married on July 2, 1955 to Andy McRae for 61 years. Yvonne worked as a teacher in the Winnipeg School Division Number One until her retirement in 1990, after 43 years of teaching. Yvonne is survived by her husband Andy, daughters Cindy McRae of Gimli, MB, Kally (Bruce) Werven of Cavalier, ND, and Valerie Beel of Winnipeg, MB; grandchildren, Christopher (Talia) Dorsch of Warren, MB, Drew and Tanner Werven of Grand Forks, ND, Patrick and Kally Beel of Winnipeg, MB, and sisters, Beryl Shaver and Ella (Floyd) Tully of Winnipeg, MB. Yvonne was predeceased by her parents, brothers Howard, Lee and Les, and sister Mabel Sveinson. The family would like to thank the staff at Oakview and to special homecare/respite workers, Jamie Donohoe and Angela Husluk both of Gimli, MB for their love and tender care. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakview Place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Liliane Baron South Interlake Breast Cancer Support Group. On line guest book at www.dignitymemorial.ca
