ELLEN (NELL) BATES / JAMES (nee CALDER) Ellen (Nell) Bates / James (nee Calder) passed away January 30, 2017 with family and friends at her side. At Ellen's request cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held in the spring. The family wish to thank our very dear friends Emilie Malo and Anne Harder for being such an important part of mom's life and our family. Your kindness and loving will always be in our hearts. We wish to thank the staff at the Niverville Heritage Life for being so kind during our mom and grandmas final days. And especially the volunteers that spent so many hours with mom filling her life with so much laughter and fun over the last three and a half years. A longer obituary will follow in the spring.
