ELSIE ELIZABETH KNOWLES January 13, 1948 - January 31, 2017 It's with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Elsie's battle with cancer ended at Seven Oaks General Hospital. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Mary and Edward, and her partner Ronald. She is survived by her daughter Cathy (Lorne) and son Jason (Tiffany). She leaves behind her sister Irene (Mike), and her two brothers Edward (Donna) and Oliver (Sophie), multiple nieces, nephews, and her fur babies. A celebration of Elsie's life will be held on Tuesday, February 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Apostolic Church, 305 Machray Ave., Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the Emergency Room staff and doctors at Seven Oaks General Hospital as well as Dr. Pilkey and Corrie from Palliative Care for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations can be made on Elsie's behalf to CancerCare Manitoba. "The reality is that you will grieve forever.
