Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY EMILY CLAWSON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Emily Clawson (nee Peterson) on January 26, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Lloyd Clawson. Mary leaves her daughter Charmaine (Jim), son Bruce (Beverly), grandchildren Linda (Dwayne), Eric (Sara) and Cole (Mandy), great-grandchildren Brandon, Jack, Luke and Kate, and many nieces and nephews. Mary worked as a welder during the war. Mary and her husband Wilfred had a company called Select Window Cleaners for many years. A memorial service will be held at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., at 2:00 p.m., March 3.

Mary will by sadly missed by her daughter Charmaine (Jim), son Bruce (Beverly), grandchildren Linda (Dwayne), Eric (Sara) and Cole (Mandy), great-grandchildren Brandon, Jack, Luke and Kate, and many nieces and nephews. Mary worked as a welder during the war. Mary and her husband Wilfred had a company called Select Window Cleaners for many years. Special thanks to Britannia Lodge and to the staff at Purdy Pavilion at UBC Hospital for all their care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vancouver Coastal Health, Vancouver, British Columbia. Arrangements for a memorial service are pending in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Dear Charmaine & Bruce, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. When I saw her picture in the paper it took me back a lot of years to the days when we used to hang out at your place. Your mom was always so happy and always singing. I remember the birthday parties Charmaine and the special little gifts from your mom. Our condolences to you and your family.
