My deepest condolences to my Auntie Carol and cousins Rick and Beau. I have many fond memories of my wonderful Uncle George. May you all cherish the many wonderful memories you have of him as well. I wish distance hadn't kept me away from you all today, however I was there in spirit. - Posted by: Laura Richards (Niece) on: Feb 12, 2017

I knew George in my role as a Marshall at the Mars Sandhills Golf Course. George was a very good golfer, but more importantly he was very respectful and considerate to all of his fellow golfers as well as to the staff at Mars Sandhills. Sunday mornings just won't be the same without Big George. - Posted by: Ron Gensorek () on: Feb 10, 2017

To Carol,Rick and Beau. I would like to let you know the passing of George will leave a very empty place in my heart. Although over the past years we have not been together often the times we have had and the conversations we had always brought back many memories of our past. We first met in junior high at Andrew Minarski than on to Tec Voc High. We were friends when George and Carol started dating both with 58 Chevys. Our time when we would ride horses together George on Champion me on Navaho. Times in British Columbia with my horses Pride and Dusty.Than you moved back to Manitoba and there was only phone calls but I always felt close to Him like time stood still between us. Good-bye for now good buddy. We will see you in heaven. Your friend forever Barry Mayo - Posted by: Barry Mayo (Long Time Friend) on: Feb 09, 2017

Dear George , you will be missed by many of your "morning friends" that other family... Bob and I are truly sorry not to be able to be present on February 11, but dear Carol and family, we are certainly there in spirit and love. Bob and George had many good chats that Bob will keep close to his heart. God Bless - Posted by: JoAnne/Bob Lowenberger (Friend ) on: Feb 09, 2017
