Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERNON BASTABLE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vern on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the age of 75. He is the beloved husband of the late Beverley; loving father of Vern (Sarah), Erin (Stephane); dear grandfather of Krysty-Ann (Yvon), Derek, Cassidy and Brody; brother of Bob (Sylvia) and Gord (Susanne). He will fondly be remembered by "his best buddy" Sheila. Vern was a proud member of the OPP for 20-plus years and will be missed by his ride-along partner Jerry (Sherry). Vern will be remembered for his gentle, funny and good nature. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated.
