Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryESTELLE (SUGAR) BUBIS (nee LENNETT) April 17, 1933 February 5, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved mother, Sugar. She passed away on Sunday February 5, 2017, the day of her wedding anniversary. Sugar is survived by her three children, Marc (Donna) and their children, Erin and Mara (Braydin); Danny (Jennifer) and their children, Spencer and Jack; Maureen (Doug) and their child Saydie; and her sister Gerri (John). Sugar was predeceased by her loving husband Bill on July 21, 2008 and her parents Syma and Mickey. Sugar and Bill led a life of travel and adventure and particularly enjoyed their homes in Florida and in Mexico. This and their love of family, friends and a sense of generosity was passed on to their three children. Sugar will always be remembered for her smile, warmth and a wonderful sense of style. Sugar's children thank all of the people who were important to her and made her life fulfilling. We send our sincere thanks to all the staff at the Grace Hospital for their kindness and care. Funeral services were held on February 7, 2017 at the Congregation Etz Chayim. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Jewish Foundation of Manitoba or the charity of your choice.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Sugar's family and friends of which there were many. A lovely lady that I so enjoyed visiting with on some of her trips to Vancouver. Thanks you so much Maureen for close to 27 years of friendship and for the many stories of Sugar and Bill, we had so many laughs and delighted in their travels and life stories. I wanted to send condolences on behalf of the Bear family...Paula, Sol and I have great memories of your parents. Sugar and our mom Ruth were friends forever and always caught up when mom was in Winnipeg. There was a time when Ruth, Ron, Sugar and Bill went to Mexico together .... I remember a funny story about a birthday cake and probably have the picture that was taken at the time! She was a wonderful lady with a great smile.
