We were sad to hear of Ricks passing and wish Marie and Family our condolences. Rick was a fine person, excellent politician and good friend. My association with Rick stems largely through Municipal politics. He had a passion to help his ratepayers and Manitobans out. We served on many committees together and he was a bulldog when trying to get things accomplished. He will be greatly be missed by all. - Posted by: Ross and Carol Tycoles (Friend) on: Feb 17, 2017

Our deepest sympathies to the family. In the late 1960s we rented out a room to him, while he was in Brandon. He was not a renter, he became a great friend. He even looked after our son on the odd occasion. Over the years we kept in touch and followed his career and his success in public life. He will be truly missed. Extremely saddened and shocked to hear the news of Rick's passing....much too young. He was a teacher, scout leader, coach, neighbour, and most importantly a friend to myself and many others. My sincere condolences. - Posted by: Mark Stefanuk () on: Feb 11, 2017
