Craig formerly of Edina, MN and Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, passed away peacefully at age 94, on February 8, 2017, in California. She is predeceased by her husband, Henry Craig, and parents Nick and Marie Sowsun. "Auntie Ann," as she was lovingly called, will be missed by her sister Olga Wasson of California, brother Pat of Burlington, Ontario and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends in the United States, Canada and the Ukraine. Ann was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, until her marriage in 1948 to Henry Craig of Chicago, IL, settling in Minneapolis, MN. Although Ann had no children, she was extremely generous to many children's charities. Anastasia was proud of her Ukrainian heritage. As a member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada and the United States, Ann sang in the church choirs from an early age until the time of her death. In Canada, she sang in the Koshetz Choir and the Dnipro Choir of Minneapolis. Prayers will be sung on Friday, February 17, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at Kozlak Radulovich Funeral Chapel at 1918 University Avenue, NE Minneapolis, MN. Funeral services will take place at St. Michael's and St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 505 4th Street Northeast, MN, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, 2250 St. Anthony Boulevard Northeast, Minneapolis, MN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Henry and Ann Craig Scholarship Fund, in care of St. Andrew's College, 29 Dysart Road, Winnipeg, MB R3T 2M7 or a children's charity of your choice.
