Mrs. Hooper was a part of so many of my sunny memories of growing up 'on the island' - - as are the whole Hooper family of course. Alternating Christmas and New Years' dinners, picnics, camping, trips to Delta, and bowling tournaments were all part of the mix - - plus activities at St. Mary's church. We took everything for granted back then, but now I am so appreciative of her patience as we kids ranged from house to house along the street. Could I do the same now? I doubt it. My deepest condolences to Lynne and Kathy and their families, as well as other family members and friends. Sincerely, Christine Grant - Posted by: Christine Grant (family friend) on: Feb 27, 2017
