I worked closely with Werner in BC for 7 years, from 1993 until 2000. He was such a hard worker and so easy going. I took away so many life lessons from him...as well as many sayings. My children asked me one day last year why I say "Hokey Dinah" when I'm surprised. I couldn't say why until my husband reminded me that it was Werner who used that term. It is funny how people touch our lives. I hadn't seen him in 16 years; but, last year I was walking on the boardwalk in White Rock, BC with my family. As a group of people walked the opposite way I briefly made eye contact with a man. A couple of minutes later, the recognition hit. It was Werner! By that time, he had been lost in the crowd. I wish I could attend his Celebration of Life but cannot make the trip. I will have to settle for remembering him that day on the boardwalk, enjoying time with his family. My deepest sympathies to Debbie, Joel and Carolyn. - Posted by: Susan Pellaers (and Rob) (Former Co-Worker) on: Feb 21, 2017

Our condolences to Debbie and the whole Molzahn family. Werner had a way of brightening every room he walked into. We loved his heart for the Lord and for people. Though it's been many years we have fond memories of our time at IPC in Winnipeg. Werner is very much a part of those memories. - Posted by: Sharlaine and Marvin Wojda (Friends) on: Feb 18, 2017

Words cannot express the heartfelt sorrow that we feel on the passing of Werner. Being second cousins we grew up together in Winnipeg and I have many fond memories of family times together. I was very exciting when Werner, because of work brought his family to BC and we got to meet his wife Debbie and their children. Werner was always caring and willing to help, always asked how I or my family was doing. He did not talk much about himself, but what I remember the most is what a hard worker he was. He and his family showed this in many practical ways during the building phase of Surrey Pentecostal Assembly. Werner also served many years on the Board of Directors for SPA. Werner loved his family and cared and provided for them in an exemplary way. I will also, always be grateful for the respect and time Werner took to visit my Mother during her last difficult years. I am still in shock that Werner is no longer here with us, but I know I will see him again one day. Knowing that Werner was strong in his faith and is now with Jesus and with his Dad is a comfort. Debbie, Joel and Carolyn, we love you and are here for you anytime, night or day. We are praying for you as well as for all the family and relatives in Winnipeg.
