I had the pleasure of getting to know Barb when we both worked at the Reh-Fit. We worked in different depts. but would see each other at coffee and lunch and whenever she had reason to come into the accounting office. She was so great, so friendly, warm, and fun. We talked a lot about our love for our family, our love for the lake. My condolences to the family, she was a lovely lady. - Posted by: Lori Lanouette (Co-worker) on: Feb 27, 2017

My deepest sympathy to Barb's family. Barb and my nursing paths crossed throughout my nursing career. Her friendliness, sense of humour, and incredibly good nursing care will never be forgotten. - Posted by: Geri Lowry (Colleague) on: Feb 26, 2017

I first met Barb when we worked on CPU together in 1975. We were both new grad's and her expertise just blew me away. I was a blundering BN and Barb was ever so kind to show me how to correctly care for cardio-thoracic patients. I will never forget her great skill, compassion, sense of humor and inclusiveness. I also give thanks to Barb for sharing her passion for nursing with Ashleigh. When my husband had valve replacement surgery, it was Ashleigh who so expertly cared for him in ICS. Through Barb and Ashleigh, the world has been made a better place. Barb's passing is such a great loss, but the legacy she has left behind is immense. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take care. - Posted by: Pat Yamada (former co-worker) on: Feb 25, 2017
