Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES STANLEY (STAN) SVEINSON July 17, 1948 - February 19, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, peaceful passing of Stan, at home, at the age of 68. Stan is survived by Joyce, his loving wife of 42 years, his son Wes (Leanne) of Innisfail, and his daughter Jill (Troy) Oscar of Leduc, three grandchildren, Grace, Abby and Nathan, one brother Bill of Winnipeg, one sister Margaret (Roy) Kolton of Buck Lake, and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Stan was predeceased by his father Albert, his mother Maria, his stepfather John, his brother Harold of Nova Scotia, and sister-in-law Heather. Donations can be made to the Heart and Lung Association, Kidney Foundation or the Diabetes Association. Memorial Service to be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810 - 34 Ave., Edmonton. Ph. 780-440-2999.
