SHIRLEY YVONNE REICHART (GUY) It is with sincere and heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Reichart on February 20, 2017, surrounded by the love of her family. Shirley was predeceased by beloved husband Joe, father Reg, mother Jeane, brother Terry; Joe's parents Joseph and Elizabeth Reichart, and brother-in-law Harold Brodie. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Byron (Janis), Bill (Jan), daughter Jody (Cy), grandchildren Anders, Jolene, Paul, David, Kelsey and Leah, great-grandchildren Saga and Leif, sister Carole Brodie, brother Dennis (Kathleen) Guy, sister-in-law Sharon Guy, brother-in-law Bill Reichart (Betty), and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her many friends especially John and Evelyn Bulmer and June Halpin. Mum was born in Port Arthur (Thunder Bay), Ontario on July 6, 1931, living in Port Arthur and Winnipeg until she met and married her soul mate October 3, 1952. They then moved to Pine Falls, Manitoba and became part of a great community, working for Abitibi-Price and participating in many activities. Mom loved to curl (honorary life time member) and play Canasta with the girls, in addition to belonging to Order of the Eastern Star and volunteering with the Pine Falls Health Auxiliary. Shirley was a great friend, seamstress and quilter, but most of all she was the best mum and nana anyone could ask for! Cremation has taken place and there will not be a formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. As long as we live, we will always be glad, Grateful and proud of the mother we had . Never more than a thought away Quietly remembered everyday In our hearts her memory is kept to love, to cherish, to never forget We love you Mum
