Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN (NORM) J. MCCARTHY February 28, 1955 - February 20, 2017 Norm was born on February 28, 1955 and passed away on February 20, 2017 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Bosko; son Jesse of Kelowna; daughter Skie (Cory) Mowat and grandchildren, Dante and Brooklyn; brothers, Marcel and John (Doris) and sisters, Doris (Albert) Dubbert, Louise (Lloyd) Beaudry of Regina, Annette McCarthy, Lorraine Swick of Foreston, MN, Eveline (Den) Wall, and Flo (Mike) Lapointe. In-laws, Mom Hazel Bosko, Mark (Darlene) Bosko, Marilyn and Larry Dupont and Paulette McCarthy of Montmartre, SK, and his TNR, T3 and Star Valley Ranch friends. Also numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Mom and Dad, Rose and Emilien, and brothers, Ron and Dennis (Trapper) and father-in-law Peter Bosko. I lost my best friend, soulmate and beautiful blue-eyed knight. We enjoyed life to the fullest facing each day with humor, love, friendship and adventure. I was so lucky for the last four precious months to cherish being in his company, even though they were the hardest times we ever imagined and truly were a gift. Realistically he never should have been here after his illness in November but his strength and determination showed through in his miraculous recovery up until this past weekend and even then his love shone through all the pain with a most memorable last kiss goodbye before being transferred from the Grace to St. Boniface Hospital where his life journey ended. I would like to give a heartfelt thank you and the most sincerest gratitude for all the people that took care of my prince at Mountain Vista and St Joseph's Hospitals in Phoenix and Health Sciences, Riverview, Grace and St Boniface Hospitals. You truly are angels among us. Thanks to everyone for your caring and loving thoughts and loving friendship. An obituary will follow at a later date when his Celebration of Life and Memorial Ride will take place. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the "Save the Trike So Judy Can Ride" fund. A Birthaversary Celebration will take place on February 28, 2017, 6:00 p.m. onward at the Marion Hotel for anyone who wishes to attend. Ride like the wind Norm, my riding angel, and start the party. We've known Norm for over 30 years and have had some great party times together. Norm knew how to live life to the fullest and enjoyed every day as though it was his last. We will miss his laugh, his smile, his witty comments and will always remember how proud he was of his children and grandchildren who brought him such joy. Our deepest sympathy to Judy and Norm's family and may he "keep on riding" as he makes his journey to "the other side". Rest in peace, Norm, we'll miss you. - Posted by: Ron and Marcie Bart (Friends) on: Mar 02, 2017

You will always be in my heart Norm. You taught me a lot of things to live by, but the best one of all was to "ride it like you stole it." I love you buddy!!!! If you ever need a hand with anything Judy, do not hesitate to give me a call. I will be there! - Posted by: Mike Gillis (Buddy) on: Feb 27, 2017
