VAUGHAN W. PARK April 20, 1930 - February 22, 2017 Mr. Vaughan W. Park passed away at Drayton Valley Continuing Care on the morning of Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Shortly after the loss of his wife of more than 45 years, Vaughan relocated to Drayton Valley to be near his son, Ken. Upon his arrival, Vaughan resided at Shangri-Lodge; then would eventually require the assistance offered at Serenity House. For the past few months, Vaughan was cared for at Drayton Valley Continuing Care. Vaughan will be lovingly remembered by his son, Ken; daughter, Monica; grandchildren, Madisyn, Mickey and Ryan, as well as by several extended family. Vaughan was predeceased by his loving wife, Geisela; parents, Alfred and Ethel Park, and his only brother, Norm. Vaughan will be interred with his wife at Glen Eden Cemetery at West St. Paul, MB at a later date. As Vaughan requested, a funeral service will not take place. The care provided to Vaughan over the past few years by all of the nurses and staff at Serenity House and Drayton Valley Continuing Care is very much appreciated.
