Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA JEAN KINSLEY Barbara J. Kinsley passed away at Charleswood Care Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 26, 2017. Barb was born December 20, 1932 in Pueblo, Colorado. She graduated from Colorado College where she met her husband to be and moved to Canada to start a family. They lived in Edmonton and Calgary, before finally settling in Winnipeg. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a teaching degree, going on to teach at St. John's and Churchill High Schools. Barbara enjoyed travelling, skiing, and golfing. She particularly loved spending countless weekends with her grandchildren on zoo outings, cycling, golfing and hockey games. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by Kenneth Kinsley, sons David (Gordana) Kinsley and Todd (Song) Kinsley, grandsons Christopher (Lindsey) Kinsley and Jonathan Kinsley. Barb is also survived by great- granddaughters Gemma Ann and Mila Rose Kinsley. Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. I am sorry for your loss. I have been doing family history and I think that Barbara might be related to us. If her mother was Elsie Robinson and grandmother was Lottie Brown (Ross) McElroy. If this is the case please contact me I would love to know more about the family.
