SCOTT NEWSOM May 29, 1993 - March 6, 2013 Scott wrote in his Bible: "I am a child of God. My Father loves me so much that He sent Jesus to die for me. Nothing can ever separate me from that love, and by God's eternal purpose, I can and will be molded into someone more like Him. Sometimes that hurts. Sometimes it's hard. God never promised that I wouldn't ever be lonely. He promised that I would never be alone. Reality goes so much deeper than my experience. Only God can truly bring me joy, and it is that, rather than happiness which I should be pursuing. I need not fret about the arbitrary choices." A favourite Bible verse of Scott's: "For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty Saviour. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs." Zeph 3:17 Scott, we love you and miss you, and look forward to your hugs in Heaven. Mum and Dad, Dave, Judith and Paul.
