JACQUELINE GAIL BROWN
Date of Passing: Feb 28, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACQUELINE GAIL BROWN (nee STUBBINGTON) 1939 - 2017 On Tuesday, February 28, 2017 just as the day was ending, Jacqueline left us very peacefully to join her husband, Bill. Remaining to forever cherish Jackie's memory are her children Christina (Dave) Turchyn, William, Maureen Van Schepdael and James (Brigita); her grandchildren Cara (Darryl), Riki (Jaclyn), William, Kierstie and Kaci; great-grandchildren Emily, Wyatt, Cash and Shael; brother Ted (Sharon); sister-in-law Linda; and cousins Joan and Val (Ray); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bill; her parents Fred and Christina Stubbington, and her brother Rick. Mum was very supportive of her children and grandchildren and even if she didn't agree with you, you knew she always had your back. In recent years, she looked forward to Saturday afternoons at the Legion, day trips to the casino and spending time with the "pool ladies". Leisure time was spent caring for her butterfly garden, reading and doing crosswords. A private family interment will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Hospital for the excellent care and compassion Jackie received. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jackie's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Just came across Jackie’s obituary. We went to school together at Cecil Rhodes and Daniel Mac. I left Winnipeg after grade 10. She came to Dryden with Christie for a visit when Christie was little, and again years later. We were in the same group of kids in Weston....during our junior high years. A good friend, fun memories. My late condolences. Jacquie Saville - Posted by: Jacqueline Wilson Saville (Friend) on: Sep 10, 2018
