She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and William Brunn; brother William Brunn; and brothers-in-law, Clayton Doak and Ernest Demery. Eleanor was a wonderful mother and grandmother who valued her family first and foremost. She volunteered for a number of years with the Home and School and Brownies as "Tawny Owl". She worked for a number of years in The Bay's credit department and later for Cargill Grain. Eleanor enjoyed bowling, gardening and lively card games at family gatherings, where she was known for her quick wit. At Eleanor's request, there will be no formal service. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Lung Association. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Grace who provided compassionate care. As soon as I saw Mrs. Corrie's name listed in the paper this morning I flashed back to my childhood as a young Brownie at Linwood School. So many life lessons learned under her dedicated watch as "Tawny Owl". Thinking of you all in your time of loss. - Posted by: Jillian (Schmidt) Lamothe (former St. James girl) on: Mar 04, 2017
