ROSIE DUDEK (nee BILUK) June 9, 1934 - March 3, 2017 With her family at her side, it is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Rosie Dudek on Friday, March 3, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Rosie was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank (March 1987), parents Bill and Nellie Biluk, parents-in-law Karol and Pauline Dudek, and brothers-in-law Mike, Gordon and Egen. She leaves to cherish her memory sons Mike (Lilibeth, Sherwin), Billy (Charleyn), daughter Pat (Doug, David, Alana, Rose and Ben); grandchildren Mandy (Jed), Sheri (Ray, Keygann), Michael (Sarah), Danny (Lisa), Jenna, and Michelle (Sauder); great- grandchildren, Paula, Rylee and Michelle.; sister Mary Dewald, in-laws Mary Kohler, Leon Dudek and Rose and Lawrence Wyryha, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family and friends. Mom was born and raised in the Foley area. After meeting Dad at a dance at Crabby Steve's Hall, they married June 1953 and farmed and raised the family in Fraserwood. Mom remained on the family farm until December, 2016 when she moved to Betel Home in Gimli - due to declining health. The family would like to thank Dr. R. C. Patel, Gimli Health Centre Staff, homecare and Betel Home staff in Gimli for the care and compassion shown to Mom. Mom was very loving and caring and put the needs of others before her own. She is forever loved and will be deeply missed. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Fraserwood Community Hall. Interment will take place at Precious Blood Cemetery, Fraserwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
