WILLIAM NICOLAS MICHAEL PASIECZKA
Born: Jan 28, 1945
Date of Passing: Mar 02, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM NICOLAS MICHAEL PASIECZKA On March 2, 2017, Bill passed away and now rests peacefully in the arms of his Maker. Bill will be dearly missed by Denise, his wife of almost 50 years, his daughter Michelle (Joe); sons Brian and Paul (Terri); and his four adoring grandchildren (Orion, Dayton, Megan and Braxtyn). He is also survived by his sisters Betty, Pat (Doug), Jean (Lyle); brothers Dennis (Carol) and Rick,; many nieces and nephews; extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his son Patrick, parents William (Sr.) and Marion Pasieczka, and brother-in-law Dan. Bill was born on January 28, 1945 in Winnipeg. His childhood was spent on the farm in Osborne attending Osborne Elementary School, then Sanford High School, graduating in 1963. After graduation, he attended University of Manitoba and received his Diploma in Agriculture in 1965. His university graduating class has had reunions every five years since. Bill and Denise have attended every reunion except one and remain in contact with many of his classmates. He married the love of his life, Denise Labelle, on October 14, 1967 and they were blessed with four children. Together they purchased the family farm from his parents. They continued to farm until 2006. In those years they also ran several businesses. They started with Domain Motors in 1978 and then added Paska Sales in 1982. Days were devoted to business; evenings and a few stolen days to farming. Bill loved to go to auction sales; this eventually developed into a sideline: Paska's Upstairs Gallery. Bill's lifelong passion was the farm; once they moved to the city he also developed a fondness for roses. There are over 40 rose bushes in their yard. He was a collector of many things. He enjoyed music and the occasional trip to the casino. His greatest passion in recent years was his grandchildren. They brought out the child in him and a special light in his eyes, whether they were going for rides on the tractors, picking apples or playing games at home. He loved to tease and had a wry sense of humour. A celebration of Bill's life will take place on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Drive, with Father Kevin Bettens officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice. Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me...Lift up your hearts and share with me. God wanted me now, He set me free.
