Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN ELIZABETH VALENTINE (nee MACLAREN) August 23, 1930 - March 4, 2017 On Saturday, March 4, 2017 Jean peacefully passed away. Jean is survived by daughter Susan; sons Reid (Sheila), and John (Wendy), daughter Trish (John); five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and sister Peg (Margaret) Watson. She was predeceased by husband Jack, of 56 years, parents Thomas and Agnes McLaren, son-in-law Bryan, and brothers Alex and Ian. At Jean's request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. There are no hands upon the clock of eternity There is no shadow upon its dial The very hours of heaven will be measured By the sunshine, not by the shadows In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart & Stroke, Breast Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes or The Alzheimer Society.
