The best teacher that I ever had! I looked forward to my English classes in St, Pierre. It’s a class that you wanted to be there as I learned about his culture also. Coming from a small town and not ever experienced much, it opened my eyes and mind to so many new and exciting things - Posted by: Line Courcelles (Former student) on: May 20, 2023

RIP, Mr. Harris. He was my English Lit teacher from grade 10 through 12 in Ste. Anne, Mb. (Probably the best teacher I ever had), as well as my wedding photographer. He often spoke of how he came from the "land of milk and honey" and that he came here to bring "enlightenment to the poor, backwards people of this land. I, for one, am glad he did and that I was lucky enough to have him as a teacher! I never made the acquaintance of his family, but I offer them my most sincere condolences for their loss. - Posted by: Suzanne (Ragot) Wood (Student) on: Jul 03, 2017

Eliane and I offer our sincere condolences to Rita and Family. I always enjoyed Lennox and our deep conversations on just about anything and everything. In fact I enjoyed these so much that I may have overstayed my welcome from time to time. Sorry Rita. Thank you for being a part of my life and that of our Community. May we meet again someday in whatever form that may be.-- Gérald Fontaine - Posted by: Gérald Fontaine (friend) on: Mar 09, 2017

We commuted together to Ste Anne, Mb. to the collegiate back in 1965 to 1969 period. All rookie teachers. Len, myself and Paul along with a few others formed a car pool and many's the time that, on the way home, we would be stopped at the first drop off and continue the discussion for another half hour in the parked car. Len would always have an interesting statement that would spark the discussion. Time sure flew by on those commutes. I often find myself remembering those moments with a smile. Rita, our sympathy on your loss. We will remember Lennox fondly. - Posted by: David and Myrna Jubinville (Friend and fellow teacher) on: Mar 08, 2017

Sadden to hear about the passing of a former colleague from the time we were both teaching at St. Pierre Collegiate Institute. I learned a lot about photography from him and very much enjoyed our discussions on many subjects. He was a good man! Aimée and I express our sincere condolences to Rita and family.
