Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHANK BRINKMAN July 30, 1949 - March 10, 2016 Born in Holland, Hank came to Canada with his family in 1953. He quickly adapted to and enjoyed life in Canada. Shortly after his father passed in 1959, Hank and his brother Wim returned to Holland with their mom while the 3 oldest siblings stayed behind. He started his career as an architect in Holland, but longed to return to Canada so in 1980, he immigrated back to Winnipeg. Hank never married or had children which made him the fun uncle to his numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved spending time with. Hank had a very unique sense of humor and was quick with the wit. He always chose too see the positives in life and treated everyone with kindness. To have been blessed with someone like Hank in our lives is truly a once in a lifetime experience. His sudden loss has left a big void that will never be filled. "One day I woke up to the news you were gone; the shock and grief seemed too much to go on. But I heard your voice saying "do not despair, for life still goes on even though I'm not there'". A part of me went with you the day that you left, I now only have memories and they are well kept. Forever we miss you, forever and a day but thank you dear Hank, more than words can say." Annette, niece
