LINDA MAY DOUCETTE Linda May Doucette, 70, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017, with her loving husband and brother at her side, at the Grace Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Linda was born on September 12, 1946 to Fredrick and Mary Sadova. Linda graduated from Daniel McIntyre Collegiate. While attending school, she had several part time jobs putting herself through night school to become a IBM operator. Her latest career was with the City of Winnipeg Water Department, retiring after 25 years of service. Linda married Gordon in 1969 in Winnipeg. They were happily married for 48 years. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Fredrick and Mary Sadova. She is survived by her spouse Gordon, brother Grant (Faith), special sister-in-law Joan, her loving nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Thank you to the staff at Grace Hospital for the kindness and care they showed us.

I will never forget all the laughs and long gab sessions we shared for decades. Linda was always there with a smile and that was so comforting to me. I truly miss her and will for the rest of my life. Gordon, you had one terrific lady there and the world has lost one of the good ones.
