SHIRLEY ANN FREE January 5, 1956 - March 7, 2017 On Tuesday evening, after a long battle with cancer and rheumatoid arthritis, Shirley was called home and peacefully passed away. She will be best remembered for her numerous cultural, ecological, historical and archaeological contributions to the Winnipeg community through her position as a Project officer with the H.R.D.C. Her greatest achievement being the River Road Parkway in St. Andrews, which involved the construction of park benches, walk ways and the renovation of the Captain Kennedy Tea House. An accomplished world traveler and talented artist - towards the end of her life, Shirley found great pleasure in creating many beautiful works of art and acting as a spiritual advisor to her close friends and family. She is survived by her beloved husband Brian, mother Iris, brothers Tim and Kelvin, and numerous nieces and nephews. We love you Shirley, and we will forever hold the flames of your passion in our hearts.
