Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEULAH MARY COOPER (nee WHITELOCK) On March 7, 2017, at the age of 96 years, five months, Beulah Mary Cooper of Winnipeg passed away at the Misericordia Place Personal Care Home. She leaves to mourn her three daughters, Lynn (Robb) Mann of Kemptville, ON, Heather (John) Verhoef, and Terry Andrada; five grandchildren, Jeff Mann of Kemptville, ON, Brian Keith, Deborah (Jay) Marchuk, Cassandra (Trevor) Viznaugh, and Janet (Lonal) Van of Minneapolis, MN; four great-grandchildren, Steven and Eric Marchuk and Meila and Ava Viznaugh, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also a loving mother to 26 foster children. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Eric Cooper in 1987, grandson David Mann in 1974, brother Menzie Whitelock, sister Esme Trotter, son-in-law Dan Andrada, and nephew Ron Whitelock. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Camping Association Sunshine Fund, 1139 Sanford Street, Winnipeg, MB R3E 3A1. Mrs. Cooper was my Foster Mother in the early 1960's. I remember the fun, the love and the summers at Sunny Harbour. She was a wonderful, loving and caring mother and in the last 6 years I got to see her and the family again. Mom and I shared some special times together researching family history, visits to the zoo and listening to her amazing stories of her growing up on the Kelwood Farm.
