I was so sorry to hear of Berta's passing. Berta was such a kind and gentle person. She loved my visits which included trips to Dairy Queen (when it was nice outside), playing games like Mexican Train and Connect 4 and just talking about her life and experiences. Every now and then we would speak German to each other.......I think she liked that. During my last visit with her, she wasn't feeling too well and I suggested we just have a talking visit so she could relax in her room but she was bound and determined to play Mexican Train. She had a bit of a competitive streak and was really engaged in the games we played........I will truly miss her. - Posted by: Gisela Jackson (Companion care and friend) on: Mar 13, 2017
