WILLIAM (BILL) ONGENAE William (Bill) Ongenae passed away peacefully on March 8, 2017. Bill immigrated from the Netherlands in the mid 1950s with just a suitcase in hand. He began a very successful business, Parkdale Construction Ltd., which ran for over 40 years. Predeceased by his wife Lillian, he leaves to mourn their children, Al, Caroline, Marcel, and Barry, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was known for his intelligence, ingenuity and was often called upon by engineers for his knowledge, expertise, and advice. He will be remembered as an extremely hardworking man with a generous helping heart, who always made sure his family was well provided for. God saw you getting tired so He took you in His arms, and whispered "Come With Me". RIP Dad, you will always be in my heart. No funeral service as requested. Donations may be made in Bill's name to Betel Care Home in Selkirk, MB.
