Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM RONALD GIBSON God came on Saturday, March 11, 2017 and spoke with our father, they decided it was time to continue his journey to see Mom. Dad was born January 1, 1925 in Carman, MB. Ron was many things, a gentleman, a family man, a friend to all. He leaves to cherish his memory: his immediate family, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, beloved nieces, nephews and 16 first cousins. Ron had a sense of adventure thanks to his service with the military. He was a Korean War Vet, a UN peacekeeper in Egypt and other postings in Canada. He was an old farm boy at heart. Dad, you will be missed by all especially your beloved dog Marshmallow. I would like to thank Dr. Fotti and staff for their kindness, support and care over the past five years. Funeral service is being held Friday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m., Green Acres Funeral Home on Highway #1, phone 204-222-3241. In lieu of flowers, donations to any animal shelter would be appreciated.
