LARRY WAYNE DYKUN Larry Wayne Dykun passed away at the Vita and District Health Centre on Monday, March 13, 2017, at the age of 59 years. He was the youngest of three siblings born to Peter and Sophie Dykun of Gardenton, Manitoba. Larry was born in 1957 and grew up on two separate farms near Gardenton, Manitoba and attended Shevchenko School in Vita, Manitoba. After a year of University, he took a job with the City of Winnipeg and for most of his career he was an "ice maker" or arena attendant. He was married for 18 years and retired as a single man in 2008. In 2010 he moved to Gardenton, Manitoba. "Uncle Larry" as he was known by most of the family was a very important part of our family, teaching the kids and grandchildren all about hunting and fishing. As a family we would like to thank Dr. Elanovich and the nursing staff at the Vita and District Health Centre for their considerate care of Larry during the last few months. Larry's Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Vita Funeral Home 256 Railway Avenue Vita, Manitoba. In accordance with Larry's wishes a private family interment will take place in the spring. Vita Funeral Home in care of arrangements - (204) 425 3114
