NADIA MARIE HLYNKA (KARPA)
Born: Apr 02, 1925
Date of Passing: Mar 12, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNADIA MARIE HLYNKA (nee KARPA) April 2, 1925 - March 12, 2017 We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our much loved mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, Roman, and is survived by her son Leo (Shirley Frazer); granddaughter Lisa (Bryce Niemiller), and three beautiful great-granddaughters: Bailey, Morgan and London Niemiller. Mom/Baba was born in Lviv, Ukraine and immigrated to Canada with her husband and young son after the Second World War. She was an exceptional woman - beautiful, bright, loving, gracious...the list of her good qualities would fill a book. Her only fault, in our eyes, is that she was human, and like all humans, had to leave this world at some point. Still...she almost made it to 92 and kept her keen sense of humour and intelligence to the very end! She wanted most to be remembered as a loving wife, parent, grandmother and great-grandmother - and so shall she be. As per her request there will be no formal service. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Jocelyn House, where Mom/Baba spent her final months.
