MARIA MARY HALL (nee MUZYCHUK) February 24, 1917 - March 2, 2017 On Thursday, March 2, 2017, at the age of 100 years, Maria passed away at Golden West Centennial Lodge, with all of her children by her side. Maria will be deeply missed by her children, Pat (Ken) Ruppel, Janice Lawrence, Charlie (Judy) Hall and Rick (Ruth) Hall; grandchildren, David (Sonia), Kristine, Jeffrey (Allison), Nancy (Greg), Judy (Mike), Shannon (Danny), Kristen (Kyle), Kim (Trevor), Graeme (Andrea) and Tyler (Chantel); great-grandchildren Jordan, Emily, Wyatt, Brett, Molly, Cory, Hale, Radley, Audrey, Luke, Sloan, Logan, Liam, Matix and Caleb; as well as extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie; her parents; brothers; sisters and son-in-law, Moe Lawrence. Mom worked at Morton Industries where she met Dad and they were married on September 21, 1942. She had worked as a riveter to support the war effort, and for a short time, she worked at Deer Lodge Hospital. Mom was also a homemaker and raised four children. She enjoyed gardening, long walks, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of St. Bede's Anglican Church and sang in the choir and volunteered at Church functions. Sunday brunches with the family were always enjoyed and kept everyone in touch. On Friday, March 24, 2017, Mom's funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2400 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, with Chaplain Joy Andrusiak, presider. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue. Pallbearers will be David and Jeffery Ruppel, Graeme and Tyler Hall, Danny Legge and Greg Naylen. The family wishes to thank the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge where Mom had resided for the last ten years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
