LANGFORD JOSEPH GUIMOND (BOYSHUM) October 29, 1949 - March 16, 2017 It is with sad hearts and deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Langford "Boyshum" Guimond, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. Wake services are being held at his home residence - 48 Southshore Rd., Sagkeeng First Nation, MB, March 17 to March 20, 2017. Funeral service will be held at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Langford joins his beloved parents Mary A. and George M. Guimond, sister Louise (Ron), daughter Bonnie, and brother-in-law Tom Gillis, as well as his sisters-in-law Elaine (Amil) and Ardith, nephew Greg, and father-in-law Alex. He leaves to mourn his wife Karen, his children: Lyle (Moira), Lionel (Cara), Annie (Nathan), Candice, Shelly, Sherri, Quinn, 28 grandchildren and four great-grandsons, his brothers: Lloyd (Arlene), Ron (Lorna), his sisters, Patsy, Maggie (Wes), and Noreen (Larry); his favourite niece Sheri (Marie); his mother-in-law Lena, his sisters-in-law Penny (Curtis), Jocelyn, Deidre (Lenny), and his brother-in-law Sonny. We, the family, would like to thank the Sagkeeng Health Centre and the Blue Water medical clinic for their hospitality and understanding during Langford's last days here on earth.
