Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE ANNE (CATHY) WIEBE (nee BURNS) Catherine Anne (Cathy) Wiebe, aged 58 years of St. Anne and until recently of Winnipeg, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017. She is survived by husband Barry, daughter Rebecca Ruth, and sister Marion. Cathy had a varied, proficient career as a registered nurse, having worked in Winnipeg at the Misericordia Hospital and Health Sciences Centre, in Virginia, and most recently at the Victoria General Hospital. The funeral service will be held at The Wave Church, 364 Furby Street, Winnipeg, on Friday, March 24 at 11:00 a.m., with viewing at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Edwin Wiebe officiating. Following a reception in the church the interment will take place at the Elmwood Cemetery, Winnipeg, Manitoba. I am so very sorry for this tragic loss. Cathy was my dear friend and bride's maid in 1990. We have lost touch and I was just searching for her on this trip back to Winnipeg. I would love to meet Barry and Rebecca. We're flying out on Monday the 10th. Our deepest condolences once again. Barry and Rebecca, Our hearts are with you at this time. Remember Catherine and her kind words and gestures while living as neighbors at Markham Rd and thereafter. Also remember that wonderful fellowship to celebrate the Lord Jesus Christ​ with other brethren some years ago. Quite supportive of your husband and daughter.
