I am sad to learn of the passing of such a wonderful strong lady. I also have comfort that her health issues are no longer a burden to her. I visited her a number of times in the hospital. We had private talks where she would ask me about my family members showing deep concern. On my last visit a number of weeks ago she told me to look after myself and held my hand. I have such great memories of Mary going to Grand Beach, restaurants, and talking on the phone.. She made great chili sauce, perogies and other wonderful dishes. She was always a lady who was faithful to her family and friends. She would send me such beautiful birthday and Christmas cards over the years. She always wrote such nice words inside. Every year I would stop and help her gardening. She was a perfectionist with her red gernamiums. Last summer I stopped and chatted with her and Mallory. Mallory was so tired from the endless work but we laughed at how Mary was still determined to get the job done. She loved her sons and appreciated how loyal they were to her. She loved visits from her nieces and her lovely neighbour. She told me her niece Judy was very supportive in helping her. I remember going to a lovely birthday dinner held for her at the Norvilla Hotel years ago. She was not a person who wanted much attention in life. I also remember seeing her visiting Bill daily at the personal caare home years ago feeding him daily. What a beautiful strong lady she was. My deepest condolences to her sons and family. I will always miss you dear friend, now is the time for you to join Bill and be at peace in heaven. God Bless, your friend always, Lynne - Posted by: Lynne Cooper (friend) on: Mar 23, 2017
