MICHAEL JOSEPH PAYEUR August 6, 1966 - March 21, 2017 As we announce the sudden passing of Michael in Thunder Bay we know that he is finally at peace. Mike will always be remembered for his love for his family, his full laugh and mischievous grin. He loved fishing, golf and big fast shiny cars. Mike was born in Sioux Lookout, a place he often returned to. After high school he lived in Winnipeg and became a diesel mechanic at South Winnipeg Tech. He worked at many jobs and different careers in and around Winnipeg. He spent some time in Alberta and British Columbia as well with different jobs. Michael was predeceased by his father, Lucien Payeur, and his stepsister Jennifer McKenzie. Michael is survived by his mother Gertrude Archer (Donald); stepmother Grace Boles; sister Linda McGrath (Shawn); step-siblings: Michelle Diston (Andy Schardt), Natalie Popovic (Bob), Nicole Archer, Andrea Boles, Steve Boles, and (Rick McKenzie). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Pascal, Jake, Cohen, Andrew, Cameron, Haylei, Madison, Marek and Nicholas; also survived by his very dear friend Bridget Onofriechuk. Cremation has occurred and a celebration of life will take place in Sioux Lookout at a later date. In lieu of flowers, condolences may be made in the form of donations to the Center for Addictions and Mental Health - CAMH or AFM or to the Chronic Pain Association of Canada - CPAC.
