When we found out the loss of our dear friend Wayne in early April, our feelings were mixed and we did go through a long period of denial. On one hand we were thankful that he no longer suffered but on the other hand it was very difficult to let go. Wayne was a real fighter and never accepted defeat until he exhausted all his alternatives and his very last ounce of energy. His success in Larsen’s Memorial was proven to be champion of his perseverance and resilience. Wayne possessed such magnetic personality that attracted everyone crossed his path. We loved his charm, humor, warmth and sincerity. Wayne, even after you had gone, we could all learn from your positive outlook on life by ridding our negativity. We would continue your legacy by sharing happiness with others and spreading words of kindness. Gale, Sheri, Derrick and Jim, please accept our belated condolences to your entire family. It is very difficult to say final farewell and hope we will join him one day in heaven. - Posted by: Ken, Kitty and Michelle Ho (Long time friends) on: May 17, 2017

Wayne was one of my oldest and dearest friends. We had been friends since 1956. Wayne was always a loyal and trusted friend. We shared so many thoughts about life, love and the universe as 16 year olds attempting to understand what it was all about. Life's path took us in different directions but whenever we connected over the years it was as if we'd been together that week. He loved his wife and family with honest devotion. The world is a sadder place without Wayne and his delicious sense of humor. - Posted by: Norm Eburne (Dear friend) on: May 15, 2017
