TONY (ANTOINE) HUTSEBAUT Peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 Tony (Antoine) Hutsebaut passed away suddenly, at 82 years of age. He is survived by daughters, Shannon (Leo) Feeleus, Tannis (Ritchie) Bohn; and their mother Eileen Hutsebaut and Patricia (Jason Wolff) Commodore, Christina (Peter) Fleming, their mother Sandy Larocque and her daughter Crystal. Granddaughters, Kyla, Tara, Erin, Shelby, Tayler and Sydney; grandsons, Colin (Rachel) and Colton and great-grandsons, Liam and Nixon. Also survived by siblings, Miechen (Lou) Steenssens, Monique (Jules) Bouwman, Ben (Ethel), Walter (Dawn), Bernadette, Eve (Joe) Silman, Rita (Bill) Schoepp. Predeceased by both parents, brother Joe and nephew Rick. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Tony was born on February 22, 1935 in Belgium and came to Canada with his family where they settled in the Fort Garry/St. Norbert area. Tony was a tradesman (Tin Smith) starting Hudson Heating with brothers, Ben and Joe and then later working for companies such as Landmark Mechanical and Great West Ventilation and on his own. He travelled to many remote Northern communities for work and enjoyed working away. Over the years he lived in several places such as Charleswood, Headingley, Thompson, Rosser, Richer, Blumenort, Cowan and his final small town of Minitonas where he was able to be near his daughter Christina and family. As he wished, a formal service will not be held at this time. Cremation has taken place and ashes may be interred with a family memorial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family ask that you call a loved one and talk to them today or visit with someone you haven't seen in a while.

Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • To Tony’s family Back in the 70’s I was working at Charleswood Esso and got to know Tony. I helped him build his garage in Charleswood which he lived in until he built his house on that lot. Tony had taken 2 aluminum boats into Trapline Lake in Ontario which he graciously left my friends and I use and experience great fishing as we went to university. I would take friends from China into Trapline which blew their minds. Rest in peace Tony Jim - Posted by: Jim Maciejko (Friend) on: Apr 23, 2024
