MAGGIE (MARGARET) WRIGHT (nee WIERDA) It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Maggie on Saturday, April 1, 2017 with her family by her side. Leaving behind her husband Bob, sons John, Ian (Karen), Jason (Jodie), David (Melody) and Daughter Michelle (Phil), sisters Rita (Dirk), Elsie and Brother John (Nelly), grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Maggie worked at Investors and IBM over a forty year career. Maggie loved to travel and explore new places. Her outgoing personality made her many lasting friendships wherever she went and they will now also miss her dearly, but her favorite place was being at the lake with her family and friends. A celebration of her life will take place Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 215, Dieppe Hall, 3600 Devries Ave. off Henderson Hwy in East St Paul from 3:00 till 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to CancerCare Manitoba 675 McDermot Ave., Rm ON 1160, R3E 0V9, or to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
